DALCHEM is a privately held small business company located in one of scientific and industrial centers of Russia - Nizhny Novgorod. Dalchem was established in 1997 to manufacture specialty chemicals on lab and kilo-lab scale. The staff of the company consists of 33 persons including 16 chemists (10 chemists have equivalent of Master Degree and 6 - Ph.D.) working in a lab and 7 technicians. We are renting about 1200 m2 (13000 sq. ft) including 600 m2 (6500 sq. ft) of lab facilities. Our production capacity is based on usage of 65 lt. stainless steel reactors (10 pc.), 20 lt. stainless steel filters (8 pc), 22 lt. and 12 lt. glass flasks. We also have a small autoclave (2 lt.). We are experienced in working with air sensitive and pyrophoric compounds. These techniques include filtration of air sensitive compounds at the temperature up to 150 Co, distillation using our columns (8 pc) filled with helices and sublimation of air sensitive and pyrophoric compounds. We also have expertise to produce optically active compounds. We are able to produce many compounds from grams to kilos up to 500-1000 kg/year. All our products pass our Quality Control before they are shipped to the customers. To develop new synthesis and for Quality Control purposes we use C&H analysis, polarimeter, melting point measurement (MEL-TEMP 3.0), GC (HP 6890), HPLC (Alliance from Waters), NMR on H1, C13, P31 and other. All these methods give us ability to provide a high purity for our products. International airport in Nizhny Novgorod gives us ability to ship in time using Lufthansa Cargo and DHL. The average interval between a time the product has been made and a time the product has been received at customer side overseas is 4-7 days.
